Privacy Statement

At Probably Genius LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect your privacy. This statement explains what we actually collect on probablygenius.com, what we do with it, and who touches it. It is written to match how the site really works, and we update it when the site changes.

1. What We Collect

We collect two kinds of information:

• Information you give us. When you request a Recommendation Check, book a time, or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, and your answers about your business. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
• Basic technical information. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and requested pages) for security and reliability. Our analytics are privacy-first and cookieless: we see aggregate page views and visit counts, never individual profiles.

2. What We Deliberately Do Not Do

This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising pixels or third-party trackers. We do not sell personal information, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use targeting cookies. The only browser storage we use is strictly functional: spam protection on our forms, and remembering your details on your own device so the booking page can greet you by name.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use what you give us to deliver the Recommendation Check and your report, to schedule and hold your report presentation, to respond when you contact us, and to keep ordinary business records of our relationship. If the insights box is ticked when you submit our form, we will send you occasional articles and updates; every one of them includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click. Untick the box and we only email you about your own request.

4. Who Processes It

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and data protection terms:

• Cloudflare hosts the site, provides spam protection (Turnstile) and security, and supplies our cookieless analytics.
• Google provides our email (Google Workspace) and stores form submissions in our records (Google Sheets).
• HubSpot is our customer relationship system and handles meeting scheduling.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell it to anyone, ever.

5. Retention

We keep your information for as long as we are working together or reasonably expect to, and as long as ordinary business records require. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep a specific record.

6. Your Rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of where you live. If your local law gives you additional rights, we honor those too.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. International Visitors

We are a United States company and process information in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information travels here and is handled as this statement describes.

9. Changes to This Statement

If our practices change, this page changes first, with a new date at the top. We will not quietly start doing things this statement says we do not do.
